Biography

There's more to come soon, but for now here's the career to date!

Joined the BBC as an Audio Assistant from 1984, aged 18, working in both TV and Radio.

Boom Operator from 1987. Proficient with both Fisher booms and fishpoles.

Gram Op from 1990. Currently proficient with SpotOn, Pro Tools, Cubase, Nuendo, Reason and Ableton Live.

Sound Recordist from 1994.

Sound Supervisor from 1995. Specialist in drama, sitcom and extremely loud audience shows.

Transferred to ITV as part of 3Sixtymedia in 2001.

Now aged 47 and continuing in all of the above capacities up to the present time. As well as making the tea.
